Fonti Chianti classico make the most of the Sangiovese grapes. With a classic style, this wine is fresh and fruity, it has good acidity and sensation of spice. A touch of modern style comes from the small addition of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon (7-10% total). This wine ages for 12 months in French oak barels (400-500 litres) and 6 months in bottle before being put on the market. This Chianti Classico with its simplicity, freshness and fruity flavour is the excellent companion for any meal.
