Vignole ‘’Campicaia’’ Chianti Classico Riserva is the result of a careful selection of Sangiovese grapes (90%) harvested in early October and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) hand-picked in late October. All the grapes are fermented separately in cement tanks, with maceration on the skins for 15 days. After blending the two wines and a further three months ageing in barriques, this wine is bottled and left to rest in the bottle for a minimum of six months before release. The colour is deep red with light garnet reflections and the bouquet reveals spicy aromas and hints of berries. the wine It is velvety and full-bodied. At the taste it follows the aromas, with soft and well-integrated tannins. It has a long and satisfying finish.
