Description
The “Semillon & Chenin Blanc” IGT Toscana represents an extension of the range of wines produced at Petreto and was born from the idea that the found grapes have a strong territorial imprint. In keeping with this imprint, the blend of Chenin Blanc and Semillon creates an excellent balance that enhances the characteristics of each variety.
The wine has great ageing potential and reaches its best structure and aromatic complexity 7-8 years after harvesting.
The grapes are harvested by hand, the vinification takes place with soft pressing and the fermentation is in steel for about 20/25 days. It is then aged in steel on the noble lees for 6 months.
